Aubrey Aquino was born and raised in the Bay Area, California.  She is a TV Reporter and Host, whose work can be seen  on network, national and local levels of television programming.  Aubrey earned her Broadcast Journalism degree from San Jose State University.

In South Florida, Aubrey  is known for her fun and entertaining segments on Deco Drive.  As an entertainment reporter she's had the opportunity to interview celebrities like Billy Bob Thorton, Forest Whitaker, Tommy Lee Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Paris Hilton, Eva Mendes, Ne-Yo, Ludacris, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Carmen Electra and Steven Tyler.  Many people also recognize her as the bright personality who has helped them navigate their commutes, in the Bay Area, and in Phoenix, Arizona.  Aubrey has also lent her talent to sports reporting on the high school sports show, Friday Night Fever, and as a host for Fox Sports Net.  Aubrey got her start in the tough TV biz first in Sacramento, CA as a writer/producer, then on-air in Southern Oregon as a television anchor and reporter.

In September 2002, Aubrey made her national television debut on the first season of the ESPN original series “Beg, Borrow and Deal.”  The reality show pitted her team against another, in a race to cross the country and complete sports related tasks, relying solely on their wits and sports knowledge, carrying only their ID’s and the clothes on their backs!

Another exciting accomplishment Aubrey boasts is her unique experience of dancing for three professional sports teams.  Most notably, she was a member of the prestigious Oakland Raiderettes.  In her two seasons with “Football’s Fabulous Females,” Aubrey was featured in both the 2001 and 2002 Raiderettes calendars.  She also had a stint with another NFL team, the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders.  However, her first Pro Dance experience was on the NBA hardwood, as a proud member of the Sacramento Kings “FastBreak” dance team.  Her experience even landed her in the Sega Sports video game NFL 2K3, where game creators used motion sensors to capture Aubrey’s moves, to use for the animated cheerleaders in the game.  Aubrey is also a published author, contributing her writing skills and knowledge about the world of Pro Cheer and Dance, in The Ultimate Guide to Becoming a Pro Cheerleader.

Being active in the community is also important to Aubrey.  She enjoys emceeing and attending events that celebrate diversity, and is an active member of the Asian American Journalists Association.

The oldest of four children, Aubrey has close relationships with her parents, two sisters and brother.  In the future she plans to continue working in broadcast television and eventually would like to start a family of her own.  When she’s not reporting or dancing, Aubrey enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, reading, traveling and attending sporting events.
